Storytelling and the sharing of culture are at the heart of Printer Lei, the latest exhibition from Honolulu Printmakers, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting print art in Hawai‘i. Lei makers and cultural practitioners collaborated with print, Risograph and book artists to create works that share knowledge about the history of lei making in the Islands. View the resulting collection of posters, zines and sculptural lei forms starting Dec. 6 at Honolulu Printmakers’ Downtown studio.
