Your Ultimate Guide to the 2024 ‘Iolani Fair
The ‘Iolani Fair is back on April 19 and 20, and there’s something for everyone—carnival games, rides, a silent auction and really, really good food.

The annual fair at ‘Iolani School returns with a new theme: “Raider Rodeo.” Enjoy midway games, rides, a general store, a silent auction as well as keiki activities like a petting zoo and pony rides. There are new foods this year and rides too, so read on for the full details.

Where and When
The fair takes place at ‘Iolani School grounds on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, from noon to 10 p.m.
Where to Park
Parking is available at Kaimukī High School for $5 with no in-out privileges. The lot will be open on Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

How to Pay
Admission to the fair is free. Scrip pre-orders close on Wednesday, April 10. Rides, games, food and activities are paid by scrips, which are 50 cents each. Games range from 5 to 6 scrips per play, and keiki games and activities range from 2 to 10 scrips. Scrips can be purchased with cash or credit cards at the fair.
These booths will accept credit and debit payments in addition to scrip.

What to Do
Games
The Trading Post space will be stocked with games, craft activities and a snack station. Games include Air Ball, Bank Shot, Basketball, Mini Basketball, Break the Plate, Dragon Treasure, Fishing Pole Challenge, Ping Pong Toss and many more.
Keiki Activities
At Keiki Kountry, which is inside a big tent next to the General Store booths, there will be a petting zoo, pony rides and fun games like Ducky Dash, Garden Dig, Go Fish, Bushel Toss, Horse Wrangler, Wagon Wheel and Knock the Cans. Don’t miss the keiki-friendly arts and crafts activities either.
Rides
Carnival favorite EK Fernandez will be there with six family rides. Only scrip will be accepted.

Silent Auction & General Store
In addition to these activities, there will be a silent auction and general store with a selection of handmade quilts, baked treats, jams and jellies, freshly made kimchee and ‘Iolani logo items for sale.

What to Eat at the ‘Iolani Fair
Food booths include classic fair favorites like the Huli Beef Sandwich, Turkey Legs and Waffle Dogs. This year, there are new items like BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Onion Rings and more. Plus, check out the gourmet tent, which features new dishes and drinks every year.

Tips
- Arrive early to avoid crowds and be sure to wear sunscreen, a hat and comfortable shoes.
- Although the fair will take place on the school field, families are welcome to bring their strollers.
- Bring a blanket or mat if you’d like to sit and eat on the field. Otherwise, there will be a tent with tables and seating and plenty of open areas on the field to relax.
- Bathrooms will be available in a portable trailer at the Fair entrance, and additional facilities are located in the Weinberg building.
