68 Ways to Eat Spam: All the Food Coming to Spam Jam 2024

Mark your calendar for Spam noodles, Spam sliders, Spam dim sum, Spam nachos, Spam desserts and more on April 27.

Hormel Foods says the 1.4 million of us living in Hawai‘i collectively eat nearly 7 million cans of Spam a year. No doubt most of it is in the form of Spam musubis—but that’s just scratching the slick, salty surface of our favorite processed meat. Thanks to Spam Jam, now in its 20th year, we are spoiled with unimaginable Spam riches.

 

Spam Jam comes to Waikīkī on Saturday, April 27, this year, taking over a long stretch of Kalākaua Avenue from 4 to 10 p.m. with dozens of booths featuring all kinds of Spam (and some non-Spam) dishes, three stages with live entertainment by musicians and hula hālau, Spam logo merchandise, a Spam museum and special appearances by Spammy characters.

 

Need more? From April 20 to May 5, 20 Honolulu restaurants are featuring Spam dishes on their menus. Because otherwise you might not get to try Spam ramen or Hawaiian pizza with Spam. For more details, head to spamjamhawaii.com or @waikikispamjam.
