As we kick off Honolulu Pride 2023 Rooted in Pride: Homecoming, from Oct. 20 to 22, 2023, the Hawai‘i LGBT Legacy Foundation is delighted to provide everyone with the ultimate guide to this year’s festivities as we celebrate love, support and unity for Hawai‘i’s MVPFAFF/LGBTQIA+ community.
For an enhanced festival experience, snag Honolulu Pride VIP Experience passes, available for purchase until Oct. 18. The VIP Festival Pass offers exclusive access to Saturday’s Pride Festival at Waikīkī Shell, including three VIP Lounges with a hosted bar and front-row VIP Seating.
For a weekend extravaganza, the VIP All-Access Pass adds even more value, featuring a $25 discount for the Alaska Airlines Fly with Pride Brunch, Pride merchandise and complimentary VIP admission to various events (excluding the Fly With Pride Brunch on Sunday).

Friday, Oct. 20
The weekend begins with a bang on Friday night. Enjoy musical entertainment at Sam Tsui’s performance at Hawai‘i Theatre at 7 p.m., complete with a VIP reception. The night continues at the Paradise – Official Honolulu Pride Opening Party at Hawaiian Brian’s from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m., hosted by Kimora Blac and headlined by Laganja Estranja.
Saturday, Oct. 21
The 2023 Honolulu Pride Parade starts at Magic Island at 9 a.m., taking the parade along Ala Moana Blvd. and Kalākaua Ave., concluding at Kapi‘olani Park, led by Grand Marshal Sasha Colby. The Waikīkī Shell gates open at 1 p.m. for the 2023 Honolulu Pride Festival, featuring headliners like Kerri Colby, Kimora Blac, Kylie Sonique Love, Laganja Estranja and Sasha Colby.
Keep the celebration going at the Official After Pride Party at Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand in Honolulu or enjoy Alan Cumming’s iconic performance at The Hawai‘i Theatre at 8 p.m. For late-night revelers, the Official Late Night Monster Mash Party at CENTERED starts at 11:59 p.m and extends well into the early morning hours.
Sunday, Oct. 22
Sunday’s festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with Alaska Airlines’ Fly With Pride Brunch at Queen Kapi‘olani Hotel’s Deck, headlined by Kerri Colby and featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Kylie Sonique Love and Laganja Estranja, with an exclusive Sasha Colby Meet & Greet. The celebration continues at the annual Lei Pool Party hosted by NMG at ‘Alohilani Resort, starting at 1 p.m. and extending into the evening.
