Celebrate the Year of the Snake at Royal Hawaiian Center

Royal Hawaiian Center invites guests to join its Lunar New Year Celebration, welcoming the Year of the Snake!
Festivities will kick off on Wednesday, January 29 at 5:00 p.m. with a lion dance by Lung Kong Physical Culture Club will take place in The Royal Grove. Guests can pick up a custom Royal Hawaiian Center Red Lai See from Helumoa Hale to feed the lion. Then at 5:30 p.m. the lions will dance throughout the center and visit participating merchants.

On Saturday, February 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. guests can enjoy a special performance by Wah Ngai Lion Dance Association Acrobatic Lion Dance in The Royal Grove. Then on Sunday, February 9 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. commemorate the New Year with a piece of traditional calligraphy by Ina Chang.
From January 28 through February 9, 2025, customers who spend $750 or more at Royal Hawaiian Center merchants can redeem a complimentary red Lai See envelope at Helumoa Hale Guest Services as part of its Lunar New Year Gift with Purchase. Each Lai See envelope will contain a prize slip, which can be redeemed for prizes including an exclusive red mesh tote bag, RHC-branded merchandise, and gift cards valued between $28 to $168, inspired by the Chinese tradition that views the number eight as especially lucky.
Receipts must be same-day and dated within the promotion period (1/28/25 – 2/9/25). Same-day receipts may be combined with purchases from other Royal Hawaiian Center stores/restaurants. While supplies last.
